A Sweet for the Void

Are you growing weary in the abyss? Need a dark fix to carry on? I have the spell for you. Take these sacred ingredients to your altar and you will conjure up a revitalizing treat.

1 C Flour
3/4 C Cocoa Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
3/4 C Butter
1 1/2 C Sugar
3 Eggs
1 Tb Vanilla
7 oz Bitter Sweet Chocolate

Preheat your altar to 325 F

Combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl, give a blessing of rest and set aside.

In a separate bowl add the butter and sugar, envoke the spirit of unity and then cream together.

Add the eggs one at a time, adding the next only after the previous has been fully incorporated. With each egg added to the bowl conjure visions of life, death, and then rebirth.

Stir in the Vanilla, take in the aroma and be at peace.

Stir in the dry ingredients you set aside earlier and half of the bittersweet chocolate.

Pour the concoction in to a greased 9X9 pan, sprinkle the remaining chocolate on top and place in to your fiery hot altar.

Meditate for twenty minutes and retrieve the offering, if a toothpick inserted comes out clean it is yours, if not the spirits are not done with your offering and you will need to return it to the altar for a few more minutes.
